The following link host the Audio recording of the 7^th Class of Usool us-Sittah by Abu Anas held on 7^th January 2014 at Masjid ul-Maryam after ‘Ishaa Prayer.

In this Class, Ustadh Abu Anas reads from the Explanation of Shaykh ‘Abdullah al-Bukhari on the Fifth Principle which is the mention of the Awliyaa (Friends) of Allah and also the mention of those who claim to be from them but are not from them in reality. In addition to this, Ustadh Abu Anas shows how even this principle has become “The Strangest of the Strangest” – as Imaam Muhammad bin ‘Abdil Wahhab has mentioned. Listen to this lecture and see how Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn ul-Qayyim, Ibn Rajab and other scholars from the Salaf explain how this principle is to be laid and thus, you will understand how much the modern day self-virtuous, self-acclaimed “awliya” are leading people away from the Book and the Sunnah and ultimately towards Shirk.
